Welcome to the "Heart of Darkness

The purpose of the blog is to share my experience reading "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad and via extension Marlow's journey into the heart of Africa. for those of you unfamiliar with the story here are some sites I found that might be useful (Note: I've found a lot of copies free online however I'm still unsure as to weather this book is public domain or not):

Also the first thing I noticed when looking into this story was that it isn't a classic novel, but is in fact a classic NOVELLA leaving me with the loose feeling that I've cheated. I feel like the jock that for his university literature class does a  paper on the virtues instilled by Winnie the Pooh,  but now I recall I picked this  novel(la) of the list of suggestions, so I feel better. It's very difficult to feel guilty for tax fraud when the taxman suggests it.
